About Gotta Enterprises

Every August, Knoxville swells — campers, haulers and half the sprint-car world pointed at the same half-mile of dirt on the north edge of town. Gotta Enterprises keeps mowing straight through it, because grass does not care what week it is and the yards along those streets get more eyes on them than usual. Late-summer cutting is its own discipline: dry ground, dust in everything, a mower that has to leave a stripe without tearing the crown. Trim, edge, blow the clippings back onto the turf, move on to the next one. When the noise dies down in September, the lawns are still even, and that is the whole point.
