Boyd's Lawn Care

About Boyd's Lawn Care

Keosauqua is tucked inside a great horseshoe bend of the Des Moines River, and on a May morning the mist lifts off the water and climbs into the wooded bluffs. Boyd's Lawn Care starts its rounds as that haze burns away, when the grass is still cool and the old brick courthouse is catching its first sun. Mowing here means following yards up and down the hillsides of a river town, keeping lines straight even where the ground refuses to lie flat. Trimming takes care of the fence lines, the tree bases and the walk edges, so each lawn comes out tidy from corner to corner. In a town this pretty, a well-kept yard simply belongs.
