About Ultimate Lawn Services, LLC

September light comes in at a slant here, low across the yards on Johnston's east side where the ground begins to fall away toward the Des Moines River valley. Ultimate Lawn Services, LLC likes this stretch of the year best — turf is thick and dark again after the August heat, evenings cool off, and every cut takes well. The work itself stays what it was in June: mowing on a set rotation, trimming close around trees and posts, borders held true, nothing left scattered behind. Days shorten quickly in Iowa, so mornings start earlier and the route tightens up. A lawn cut in September keeps its shape a long while, and that is a good thing to leave behind you.
