Long before Corteva's Johnston campus fills its parking lots each winter morning, BOSS Outdoor has already been through — clearing the rows so the first cars in don't have to break their own trail through six inches of overnight snow. This is a town built more around office campuses and cul-de-sacs than a single Main Street, and that shapes the work: wide commercial lots first, in the dark, then the residential streets branching off NW Beaver Drive as the sky starts to lighten. Beaver Creek runs low and mostly ice-locked through its corridor all winter, a green space in summer that in January just marks where the wind picks up speed crossing the open ground. A storm that hits overnight means the whole route runs before Johnston's offices open at eight, lot by lot, street by street, the trucks racing daylight more than the snow itself. By the time commuters are pulling in, the pavement is bare and salted, like the storm happened somewhere else.
