Monson Land Clearing

About Monson Land Clearing

When a winter storm comes rolling over the Shelby County hills, Irwin feels it first in the wind, which spends the afternoon carving long white ridges across lanes and farm drives. Monson Land Clearing answers that weather with the same heavy-equipment patience it brings to opening up ground, pushing back drift after drift until the drive shows through. There is a particular pleasure in a wide blade cutting one straight path through snow the wind worked all day to pile. By supper the banks stand squared at the edges, and the porch light falls on a yard you can actually cross. In a town ringed by open farm country, that cleared lane is what lets the evening relax.
