Heartland Grounds

About Heartland Grounds

Drive out toward Solon, or south to Lone Tree, and Iowa City's lawns give way to section-line fields with the light going amber over them in harvest season. Heartland Grounds works the near side of that line, mowing yards across Iowa City and the towns around it, trimming fence rows and corners, and edging the drive so gravel and grass each keep to themselves. Every cut finishes with the concrete swept clear. The spring and fall cleanups carry the heavier load — winter's debris hauled out one way, autumn's leaves the other. Plain work taken all the way through, which is how things get done out here.
