About Electric Lawn LLC

There is a particular stillness near Melrose Avenue early in the morning, before the day's traffic finds it, and that is a fine hour to be cutting grass. Electric Lawn LLC mows Iowa City and University Heights yards week in and week out, trims the borders a deck cannot reach, and edges the sidewalks so the turf stops in one clean line. Every visit ends with the clippings cleared off the drive and the walk. Twice a year the deeper work happens — a spring cleanup to open the lawn back up after the thaw, a fall cleanup to take the leaves off before the cold settles for good. The reward is a yard that looks cared for at seven in the morning and still does at seven at night.
