Under Iowa City lies black prairie ground that grows things almost without being asked, and every April it proves the point again. Bioturf works with what that soil already wants to do: mowing on a schedule that keeps turf thick rather than shocked, trimming what the deck leaves behind, and edging the seam between grass and concrete until it reads sharp from the curb. Clippings are blown clear of the drives and walks. The spring cleanup lifts off flattened thatch and winter debris so sunlight can reach the crowns; the fall cleanup takes the leaves away before the first hard freeze locks them in place. Thick grass is mostly patience plus a well-timed cut, and both are on offer here.
