Fenimore Bros Tree Service

About Fenimore Bros Tree Service

The streets nearest Simpson College grow up under a canopy of oak and silver maple planted generations back, and when an ice storm bends those limbs low, the driveways beneath them are the last places the sun reaches to melt anything on its own. Fenimore Bros Tree Service clears those shaded drives and walks through the winter months, working block by block through streets where one yard hides a leaning cottonwood and the next narrows between two hackberries. Out past the edge of town, where rural driveways stretch long between grain bins and gravel roads, the crew handles the same stretch of white without the benefit of streetlights. By the time county traffic starts moving on Highway 92, the lanes they've cleared are already holding their shape against the next flurry. Indianola's ice storms are the real test every winter, the kind that turns a plowed driveway back into a hazard within a single afternoon if nobody circles back.
