Crouse Tree Service

About Crouse Tree Service

On an August morning in Indianola the balloons go up before the heat does, drifting slow over Warren County fields and the tops of every tree in town. Crouse Tree Service is at work under those same crowns — pruning maples and oaks on the streets near Simpson, lifting limbs off porches and driveways, thinning what has gone thick and heavy since spring. Out toward Lake Ahquabi the timber is older and taller, and the job shifts to deadwood and to taking down the ash that did not make it. Storms cross this open ground fast, and afterward the order is always the same: broken limbs off the roof, wood cut and loaded, the yard walked once more for whatever got missed. The payoff is a clean canopy line and a lawn that mows without dodging a thing.
