Thomas lawn care service

About Thomas lawn care service

Late afternoon in October, the sun slants low across Humeston and turns the oaks along the fencerows to copper. Thomas Lawn Care Service is out in that light, giving the season's lawns their final mowings and raking out the fallen leaves so they never mat the grass down for winter. Humeston sits in the cattle country of southern Iowa, where a cared-for place stands out because the land around it is so open. The finish is a yard trimmed close to the house and walk, raked clean and ready to rest beneath the first frost. There is pride in sending a lawn into winter looking every bit as sharp as it did in June.
