Cooke's Tree Service

About Cooke's Tree Service

The Des Moines River cuts a wide, timbered bluff through Algona, dropping the ground away sharply enough that a few blocks of town feel more like a river valley than the flat plains stretching out around the rest of Kossuth County. Cooke's Tree Service works the driveways tucked against that bluff, drives that curve and drop where a straight plow pass just won't do the job. Clearing one of those slanted, timber-shaded lanes after a heavy snow takes a slower hand than the open county roads outside town, more feel for where the ice is hiding under fresh powder. There's real pride in getting a bluff-side driveway open clean, no slick spots left for a car to find on the way out.
