About C J Bacon & Sons

Hopkinton keeps its history close, with the old Lenox College campus still standing in town, and in October the trees along its streets turn the place red and gold. C J Bacon & Sons tends Hopkinton's lawns through that bright season and the green months before it, mowing, trimming and clearing fallen leaves before they can smother the grass. A lawn sent into winter clean and short wakes up greener in April, and the difference shows in yards that stay even right out to the curb. Delaware County is hilly, wooded country, and its small towns look most at home framed by grass cut true. On a crisp autumn Saturday, with the leaves raked and the stripes laid down, Hopkinton looks like a postcard of itself.
