About Midwest Lawn and Landscape

West of Hiawatha the ground opens into corn and the wind comes across it with nothing at all to slow it down, which is why yards out along Tower Terrace Road need a little shelter and a lot of attention. Midwest Lawn and Landscape handles both, mowing and trimming on a weekly turn and setting beds, plantings and mulch where they can hold their own against an Iowa wind. Spring in Linn County can go from mud to full green in about nine days, and the work moves at that pace or falls behind it. Fall means clearing the leaves and cutting things back so winter has less to chew on. What is left is a place that looks tended from the road, which in a town this size counts for a good deal.
