KC Tree Service and Firewood

About KC Tree Service and Firewood

On a winter night in Harvey, snow can fall for hours over the Marion County hills with no sound but the faint tick of flakes against the glass. By morning the drives are buried and the lanes erased, as if the town had been folded into a blank sheet. KC Tree Service and Firewood, a tree and firewood outfit by name, answers with snow removal, opening driveways and walks so households can find their way back out. There is a particular beauty to a freshly cleared drive at first light: two clean walls of white, a dark ribbon of pavement between them, the cold air sharp enough to taste and woodsmoke drifting from a chimney down the road. On a snow morning in a place this size, getting out of the house matters, to the job in town, to the school bus, to the neighbor who could use a check-in.
