Ohlinger Lawn Care

About Ohlinger Lawn Care

On Harlan's older west side, where the maple-lined streets hold onto the last of the day's gray light, Ohlinger Lawn Care works the evening shift that most of the crews in town don't bother with. A storm that quits at dusk still leaves a night of driveways to clear before the next morning's commute, and plowing those older streets after the porch lights come on has its own rhythm — snow squeaking underfoot, one set of tire tracks laid down clean. These are some of Harlan's oldest homes, and their driveways and front walks were built for a slower era, so clearing them takes a careful, unhurried pass rather than a quick one. Finishing that route means the whole west side of Harlan wakes up to a town that's already dealt with what fell overnight. It's the kind of work that only shows up as somebody else's easy morning.
