About Marcus’ Lawn Care LLC

The cul-de-sacs on Harlan's newer side of town curve in ways the old grid streets downtown never did, and Marcus' Lawn Care has the routes down to a rhythm — in on one loop, out the next, blade angled just right for driveways that all slope slightly different ways. Afternoon is often the better hour out here, once the morning wind has laid down some and the snow piled along each driveway apron has stopped drifting back across what was just cleared. It's residential work, close-in and familiar, the kind where the crew knows whose dog will bark and whose driveway floods first at the thaw. A cleared driveway by late afternoon means somebody gets home from Harlan's shops or the school without parking at the curb and wading in. It's small stuff, one driveway at a time, but on a morning when the wind is still gusting, small stuff is exactly what gets a town through to the thaw.
