Legacy Brothers

About Legacy Brothers

By seven in the morning, Legacy Brothers has already walked the sidewalk route Harlan's elementary kids will take to school, salt down, snow banked back far enough from the curb that nobody has to step into the street. It's a small stretch of town, just a few blocks around the school and the houses that ring it, but the timing matters more than the size — this has to be done before the buses start their loop and the crossing guards take their corners. The crew works fast, more interested in a clean path than in being noticed doing it. Winter mornings here can turn a familiar walk to school into something a kid has to think hard about with every step, and that's the exact problem Legacy Brothers exists to solve. It isn't dramatic work, just a sidewalk and a curb cut, but it's the reason that walk doesn't turn into an ordeal every time it snows overnight.
