About Harlan Hauling Service, Inc.
Harlan Hauling Service has spent its career moving what a town needs moved, and in January that means the mounting piles of snow that pack in tight along Main Street's storefront lots. Plowing a lot is one job; hauling that snow clear across town so it isn't simply relocated to somebody else's parking space is another, and it's the one this crew has built its name on. Trucks run before downtown's shops unlock their doors, working the same routes the town's grain trucks have always known. By midmorning, what was a wall of gray snow against the curb is just an open lot again, ready for the day's business. It's unglamorous work, the kind that lets Harlan keep functioning like the storm never happened at all.
