Forge & Build

About Forge & Build

In Harcourt the June sun sets late, burning orange over the flat Webster County farmland and stretching the grain bins' shadows across the gravel. Forge & Build carries a name that rings of iron and lumber, and in this small town it puts its hand to lawns, mowing and trimming yards until they sit as square and solid as a well-framed wall. Every pass is laid straight and every corner finished, the way a builder finishes a joint, with nothing ragged where the grass meets the step. A town of a few hundred people lives close to its yards; they are where the kids chase fireflies and neighbors lean on the fence to talk. Here a fresh-cut lawn is less a chore checked off than a small thing built right.
