About Five Star Lawns LLC

Grimes keeps building outward, and Five Star Lawns LLC works mornings shaped by that growth — cul-de-sacs finished last summer, driveways still smelling faintly of new concrete, cleared before the school buses start their loop through the subdivisions northwest of Des Moines. Snow here tends to arrive lighter than farther north, but it still catches this town mid-stride, and there's real satisfaction in a driveway scraped to bare pavement before a parent has to scrape a windshield. The crew works the newest streets first, then works back toward the older blocks near the center of town, walkways cleared in the order the town itself grew. By eight, the loop is done, and Grimes moves through its day on pavement somebody already took care of.
