About CLK Lawn Care

In July the thunderheads build over the Dallas County fields and come at Grimes from the west — shelf cloud, cool wind, and by morning everything green has doubled. CLK Lawn Care reads that rhythm rather than fighting it: cutting high through the heat, tightening the schedule when growth surges, saving aeration and overseeding for the nights that finally cool off. Cicadas run their long note over the neighborhoods near Highway 141 while the mower makes its passes. There is a particular satisfaction in turf that takes an Iowa August without going thin and brown. It comes from small decisions, made every single week.
