About GHI Sanitation, LLC

Adair County wakes to whatever the sky decided overnight, and in Greenfield that usually means a plow blade dropping before the streetlights switch off around the courthouse square. GHI Sanitation, LLC keeps trucks running here that most towns split between two different crews — the same rigs that haul on a Tuesday morning are scraping driveways clear by six the day a front comes through off the Nodaway valley. There's a particular satisfaction in a clean line down a gravel lane outside town, snow banked square at the edges, before the rest of Adair County has poured its coffee. The work doesn't wait for daylight, and in southwest Iowa the wind off the open fields makes sure of that. By the time Greenfield's stores unlock their doors, the routes this crew ran are already the reason the sidewalks are dry.
