About Bert's Lawn Care LLC

The Cedar River bends past Gilbertville on its long southeastward run through Black Hawk County, and the town's yards seem to take their cue from its steady green banks. In summer Bert's Lawn Care LLC keeps lawns mowed smooth and edged sharp, the kind of grass that invites a lawn chair and a slow evening near the water. When the river freezes white and the cold settles over the valley, Bert's turns to snow removal, plowing out driveways and opening the walks for the commute ahead. Green or white, the yards here get the same attention. In a river town this tidy, that is something worth being proud of.
