About Stewart & Son All Out Services

Work starts before the brick storefronts along Central Avenue have taken any sun, when the town is quiet enough to hear a mower running two blocks off. Stewart & Son All Out Services carries Fort Dodge lawns through the long middle of summer — mowing, string trimming, edging, and hauling the clippings away so the concrete looks as good as the grass. July storms stack up in the west over open ground and arrive in a hurry, so reading the sky is part of the day and the route bends around it. What comes out the other side is a yard with crisp corners and lines that hold until the next pass. The trucks head in about the time the streetlights come on above the avenue.
