About Hometown Lawn Care, LLC

Floyd is a small town on the Cedar River a few miles upstream from Charles City, where limestone runs close under the ground and the water moves clear across it. Hometown Lawn Care, LLC mows here, on the village lots along the river street and the wide yards at the town's edge where the fields take over. Northern Iowa gives a short, bright growing season, and it asks for a mower that shows up on time from the first flush of May grass to the last cool cut of fall. Trimming around foundations, posts and the old shade trees finishes what the deck cannot reach, and clippings come off the concrete before the truck leaves. A tidy yard on a quiet street is the kind of thing a small town notices.
