Kafer Lawn Care

About Kafer Lawn Care

Farley is small enough that the grain elevator is still the tallest thing on the skyline, a farm town tucked into the same hill country as its neighbor Epworth a few miles east. Kafer Lawn Care spends the summer on the lawns along Farley's short residential streets, and in winter the trucks come back out with plows mounted, working those same blocks house by house until every driveway in town has seen a blade. The hills around here funnel wind in a way flatter ground doesn't, so a driveway can drift shut twice in a single storm even after a morning pass, and a second run in the afternoon is often just part of the job. Watching a short street of driveways come back to bare gravel all in a row has a plain pleasure to it, salt going down at the steps before anyone's first trip to the car. Farley is small enough that clearing it feels less like running a route and more like going down the block.
