About De Los Angeles LLC

The West Fork of the Des Moines River slips through Estherville with fog still lying on it early in the day, and the yards along its banks hold dew longer than the rest of town. De Los Angeles LLC starts there, mowing once the grass has dried enough to cut clean, trimming the awkward pitch that runs down toward the water, raking clippings off the walk instead of leaving them to mat. River-bottom ground grows hard and fast in July; it rewards a steady schedule and a sharp blade. By afternoon the passes have set and the bank reads as lawn again rather than rough. It is unhurried work, done in the order the light allows.
