Tebock's Landscape

About Tebock's Landscape

Elkhart sits small and low against the Polk County horizon — a grain elevator, a handful of streets, and the wind coming down off the prairie past Big Creek. Tebock's Landscape works those yards and the acreages spread around them, doing landscape and bed work along with the mowing, trimming and edging that keep it all legible. October is the payoff here: the fields go to gold stubble, the light turns long and thin, and a well-shaped yard stands out sharp against it. Grass behaves differently on open ground north of Ankeny than it does under town shade, and each gets read on its own terms. Small town, wide sky, and ground that looks looked-after.
