About Garvins Gardens LLC

North of Eldridge the ground rolls down toward the Wapsipinicon, and the timber along the river turns color before anything in town does. Garvins Gardens LLC keeps its eye on that calendar — planting beds, tending them, and mowing and trimming the lawn that frames them, right through to the September asters going purple along a fence. A garden is a slow argument with weather, and it is won in small weekly visits: edges kept clean, grass held even, beds free of what does not belong. By fall the whole yard reads as one piece of ground that someone loves. That is the result worth working toward.
