About Roll and Sons Lawn Care

Roll and Sons Lawn Care spends its summers reading Eldora's lawns block by block, and that same familiarity carries into winter, when the same yards disappear under snow and the driveways cut through them need clearing instead of mowing. The company works residential streets on the west side of town, where lawns run long and flat before giving way to the timber along Pine Creek, plowing driveways and shoveling walks in the same order it mows them come spring. Late afternoon light in Hardin County has a particular slant in the deep of winter, low and gold across a freshly cleared driveway before the temperature drops again with the sun. Snow that falls wet and heavy packs onto grass in a way that makes spring cleanup its own kind of job, but the winter work stays simple: clear the path, keep the walk safe, leave the yard beneath it undisturbed until it's ready to green up again. The crew's routes stay close to home, covering the same neighborhoods and driveways it tends the rest of the year.
