About Lambright's Tree Service, LLC

Eldon is the Des Moines River town where Grant Wood spotted a small white house with a Gothic window and painted it behind the farmer and his pitchfork in American Gothic. That house still stands in Eldon, its peaked gable framed by open Iowa sky. Lambright's Tree Service, LLC tends lawns here, keeping the grass around Eldon homes as composed as a painting. The mowing is even and unhurried, and the trim along steps and fences comes out as straight as a pitchfork tine. On a bright October morning, with the trees along the riverbanks going gold, a well-kept Eldon yard looks ready to sit for its portrait.
