Between The Edges

About Between The Edges

Edgewood is a town with a line down the middle: Highway 3 runs through the center, with Clayton County on one side and Delaware County on the other. Between The Edges takes its name seriously here, because good lawn care lives in the margins, in the sharp seam where turf meets sidewalk, the clean curve around a flower bed, the straight run beside the driveway that makes a whole yard look intentional. In May, with lilacs in bloom and the hills of northeast Iowa gone a vivid green, the mowing fills everything between those borders with an even, close-cut finish. Neighbors notice that kind of work from the street. It is lawn care done like drawing, with a steady hand and a true line.
