Russ's Tree Services

About Russ's Tree Services

Earling grew up along the Milwaukee Road in the hills of Shelby County, and the tall Gothic steeple of St. Joseph Catholic Church still rises over its rooftops like a compass needle. On a still January night the snow drifts down past that spire and fills the folds of the land, softening every street and lane. Russ's Tree Services digs Earling out after a storm, freeing driveways and walks from whatever the night left behind. By first light the drifts are pushed back, the pavement runs dark between clean banks, and the first pickup of the day rolls out without spinning a tire. In a town shaped by hills, a clear start like that is worth getting up early for.
