Rick's Lawn Mowing

About Rick's Lawn Mowing

Fog lifts off the North Fork Maquoketa most summer mornings, and by the time it burns away the mowers are already out on Dyersville's shaded side streets. Rick's Lawn Mowing keeps yards here on a steady weekly rhythm — cut, trim, edge, walks blown clean — in a town where the basilica's twin spires are visible from half the county roads. Out past the last block the corn takes over, and a well-kept lawn reads like a held note against all that green. There is real satisfaction in the straight line a mower leaves across a front yard, and in the edge along a driveway that looks drawn with a ruler. Dyersville deserves that kind of care, and this is mowing done for the way the place looks at the end of the day.
