About TSBC Outdoor Services

South of downtown, past the Julien Dubuque Monument and the wooded bluffs of the Mines of Spain, the city thins out into the kind of larger lots and longer driveways that a truck-mounted plow handles differently than a tight in-town block. TSBC Outdoor Services works that southern edge of Dubuque, plowing driveways that run longer than most and clearing walkways where the tree cover keeps a shaded patch of ice hanging on well past the rest of a property's thaw. De-icing gets applied heaviest on those shaded stretches, since a wooded lot near the bluffs holds onto a freeze in a way an open subdivision doesn't. Commercial properties along the southern approach into the city get cleared on their own timing, lots opened before the day's first deliveries arrive. It's snow removal suited to the edge of a bluff city, where the woods start pushing back against the streets.
