River Valley Lawn and Landscape

About River Valley Lawn and Landscape

South of Dubuque the highway runs right along the Mississippi toward Bellevue, barges pushing downstream on the left and the bluffs standing up on the right, and in October the whole corridor turns gold. River Valley Lawn and Landscape works the properties on that road and back in town — final mows cut short for winter, leaves cleared off the turf in stages, beds cut back and edged before the hard freeze. There's something worth doing well about the last cleanup of the year, when the yard goes quiet and looks finished rather than abandoned. Through the green months it's the weekly mowing, trimming and edging, plus mulch refreshed in spring so the borders hold their shape. River-valley weather comes on fast here; the schedule is built to stay ahead of it.
