About Homestead Eco-Innovations, LLC

Old farmsteads sit back from the road all through this corner of Illinois — a spruce windbreak on the north side, a long curving drive, a yard that opens wide to whatever the weather is doing. Homestead Eco-Innovations, LLC looks after places like that around Dunleith in both directions of the year: mowing and trimming the big open lawns while things are growing, then plowing and clearing those same long drives once snow starts stacking against the windbreak. A quarter-mile lane is a different animal than a town driveway; it rewards patience and the right order of passes, so the banks end up where they belong instead of where they will blow back in. Late on a winter afternoon, with the whole drive cut clean and the light going pink beyond the river bluffs, the work speaks plainly for itself.
