About Great Plains Landscaping

Head west out of Dubuque and the bluffs flatten into ridge country — long August sightlines toward Peosta and Epworth, corn to the horizon, sky doing most of the work. The lawns out that way are broad, exposed and hot by two in the afternoon, and Great Plains Landscaping cuts them to match: a wide, even pass, edges held straight along the drive, mulch beds refreshed so the borders read clean from the road. In a dry August the mowing height goes up, because grass with a little length on it shades its own roots and stays green longer. Trimming finishes the fence lines and the mailbox post; blowing finishes everything else. It's plain, careful upkeep for properties that have room to show it.
