About LiL Ds Mow Co

A couple of miles northwest of Dixon, wooded bluffs look down on the Wapsipinicon River, and on a midsummer afternoon you can watch thunderheads stack up over that valley long before the first drop reaches town. LiL Ds Mow Co mows lawns in this small Scott County community, where a week of those storms can send the grass up thick and fast. The mower goes through in steady, overlapping rows and leaves the yard level, with tidy edges along the walk and driveway. The name may be playful, but the finish is anything but casual. When the clouds break and the evening sun comes back low and gold, the whole yard shines like something newly made.
