About J&L Lawn Care & Landscaping

The sound of a DeWitt June morning is a mower two streets over and a sprinkler ticking somewhere closer. J&L Lawn Care & Landscaping is often the one making the first of those sounds, out early while the dew still sits heavy and the shade on the older avenues still holds. They mow and trim, run a hard line where grass meets sidewalk and drive, and keep beds mulched and shaped straight through the growing season. Corn country makes for generous summers here — heat, humidity, storms that come up fast from the west — and the grass takes full advantage of every bit of it. Staying ahead of that is the art of the thing: cut on time, edge with intent, leave behind a yard that looks calm on a street where everything else is growing like mad.
