About Grell Lawncare and Snow Removal

January mornings in Liberty have a color all their own — a deep blue over the fields an hour before sunrise, the snow holding what little light there is. Grell Lawncare and Snow Removal is usually out in it, plowing driveways, opening walks and doorways, spreading salt on the places that ice up first. Work like this gets judged by what doesn't happen: nobody stuck, nobody down on the steps, nobody late. The village is quiet at that hour and the plow makes most of the noise. By breakfast it's finished and the day can start on time.
