About Dykema's Lawn Care and Snow Removal LLC

Snow in this part of Clinton County seldom falls straight down. The wind takes it off the open ground and lays it back across driveways in long hard ridges, then does it again at three in the morning, after everybody has gone to bed. Dykema's Lawn Care and Snow Removal LLC works those hours — headlights swinging into a DeWitt drive, the plow pushing one clean lane out to the street so a car can get to the highway before daylight, walks opened up behind it. Come April the same trucks trade blades for mowers and the year runs the other way: cutting on a weekly turn, trimming, edging, keeping lawns even from the first green through October. Two halves of one job, and both get measured the same way — by what the ground looks like when they pull out.
