About Mcclain Lawn Service

October turns Highland Park gold all at once, and then the wind coming up off the river bluff takes the whole canopy down in a weekend. Mcclain Lawn Service meets that week head-on: leaves cleared out of the yard, off the walks, out from under the porch skirt and along the fence, then hauled away rather than pushed to the curb to blow back. The rest of the year runs steadier — mowing on schedule, trimming around the trees and posts, edges kept crisp where turf wants to creep over the sidewalk. Spring brings the opposite job, clearing out what the winter dropped so the grass can wake up unobstructed. The pleasure of it is the before-and-after, and how plainly a neighbor can see it.
