About Julian's lawn services

Ewing Park keeps its lilacs on the south end of town, and for two weeks in May that whole corner of the city smells like them. Julian's lawn services works the yards in the hill neighborhoods nearby, where streets bend with the ground and terraces stack up behind the houses. Mowing across those grades is slow work when it is done right — passes laid with the slope, trimming down the wall faces and around the steps where nothing rolls. Spring growth in Iowa is relentless, so the cut lands on a set week and does not drift. Finished properly, a hillside yard sits as evenly as a flat one.
