About Jaques Lawn Care LLC

In the Western Gateway the sculptures stand on open panels of grass, and you learn fast that a plain green rectangle can be a made thing. Jaques Lawn Care LLC carries that idea into the yards around downtown Des Moines: clean geometry, mown lines that follow the shape of the lot, edges cut so a walk stays the width it was poured. June mornings here are soft and wet, the grass heavy with dew until the sun gets over the buildings. Cut it then and the color runs deepest; trim the corners and the yard looks finished rather than merely shortened. Week after week, the same care produces the same result.
