About Friend Landscaping

Ingersoll Avenue in early October is one long tunnel of color, and the yards behind it, through Waveland Park and Greenwood, go under a week of falling leaves at a time. Friend Landscaping mows those lawns all season and then keeps coming after the mowing ends, pulling leaves off the grass before they mat down and smother it. There is a neighborly logic to the work — the yards on a block look better together than any single one can alone. Trimming along hedges and fence lines holds the shape while the maples do the rest. By late November the lawns go into the cold cut short and cleared of debris.
