Irish Hill Lawn & Landscape

About Irish Hill Lawn & Landscape

West of Delmar the ground rolls and lifts toward the Maquoketa River country, and at dusk the ridgelines hold light long after the low fields have gone blue. Irish Hill Lawn & Landscape works that ground — mowing and trimming lawns, shaping and mulching beds, setting in plantings, and cutting the clean border where turf stops and garden starts. A landscape here has to stand up to open wind and heavy clay, so plant choice and grading matter as much as anything done with a mower. The good moment comes at the end of a day: hose coiled, mulch dark and even, the lawn cut around it like a mat around a picture. Small towns notice a yard like that.
