About Yard Vets LLC

Up on the east-side bluff the light comes off the Mississippi late in the day and lays itself flat across the lawns above the Village of East Davenport. Yard Vets LLC keeps those slopes — and their flatter cousins out toward Blue Grass and Walcott — on a rhythm of mowing, string trimming and edging that carries a yard week to week. Bluff grass grows uneven, sun on the river side and shade under the old oaks behind the houses, so the cut gets adjusted rather than repeated. Autumn sends the leaf drop down toward the low ground near Credit Island, and cleanups take that weight off the turf before the ground goes hard. The payoff is a stripe running true across a hillside at six in the evening, and a walkway edge you could lay a straightedge against.
