Bruces Lawn Care

About Bruces Lawn Care

By mid-August a Davenport afternoon can press the whole city flat — heat lifting off the Harrison Street pavement, cicadas sawing, every lawn between here and the river gone a shade paler. Bruces Lawn Care works with that instead of arguing with it: cutting high enough to shade the roots, keeping a sharp blade so the tips do not brown, trimming and edging so a tired yard still looks intentional. Evening brings the relief, sprinklers ticking somewhere down the block, the grass standing back up. A lawn given steady care through August is the one that comes back deep in September, and that turn is worth the waiting. Central Davenport, Bettendorf and Blue Grass.
